By Paul Mc:
My Interest is why in certain areas in Castlemilk there is no CCTV now in 1 area of Dougrie near old Labour club cars are being constantly vandelised and have been going on for ages, My stepsons car got it and it cost, Now when police are informed when your car is vandelised what they did was call him back with an incident number for him to inform his insurance company very good cracking practice, but thankfully pennies later it does not affect his no claims bonus(thankfully) sure as any driver you will know this is good(not a driver myself) but the police they can't even be bothered to come out even 4 days later, but in all the cost don't go down and nothings being done...I'm sure miost will know the area..
brian scott says: I've lived in Castlemilk for near 40 yrs now and I've never been afraid to walk in the scheme never ,up until now there's no policeing of the areas most needed policed the neds even tell the police where to go nowadays and it's a joke. When I was young we couldn't get standing around street corners but we where moved on or worse jailed for a breach of the peace, but nowadays the police are scared to go into these areas because they know whats waiting on them. I live in Ardencraig Rd and it's a joke.
